What it is

A small policy that carries a heavy load.

Final expense insurance is a whole life policy sized for what actually comes due at the end of a life. It pays a cash benefit directly to the person you choose, usually within days of a claim, so the people you love are not reaching for their savings or a credit card while they grieve.

Funeral, burial or cremation

The service, the casket or urn, the cemetery plot, flowers, the obituary and everything in between.

Final medical bills

Hospital stays, hospice care and the deductibles and co-pays that arrive in the weeks after.

Debts and household bills

A credit card balance, a car payment, a utility bill or a few months of rent or mortgage.

Something left behind

Whatever is not needed for expenses stays with your family, to use however they choose.

Coverage options

Three ways to cover the cost. One of them fits.

Every plan is permanent whole life insurance: premiums are fixed, the benefit never shrinks, and the policy cannot be cancelled because of age or health. The difference is how much health history each one asks about.

For people in generally good health

Level Benefit

The full death benefit from the first day your policy is active, at the lowest premium of the three.

  • Full benefit from day one
  • A few yes/no health questions, no exam
  • Premiums locked for life
  • Cash value builds over time

For people with some health history

Graded Benefit

Simplified health questions accept many conditions a level plan would decline. The full benefit is paid after a short graded period.

  • No medical exam
  • Built for common health conditions
  • Partial benefit in years one and two, full benefit after
  • Accidental death typically covered in full from day one
  • Premiums never increase

For people who have been declined elsewhere

Guaranteed Issue

No health questions and no exam. Acceptance is guaranteed within the eligible age range.

  • No health questions at all
  • Guaranteed acceptance within eligible ages
  • Premiums returned with interest on most plans if death from natural causes occurs in the first two years
  • Full benefit for accidental death from day one
  • Premiums never increase

Why families choose us

Built around the people you are protecting.

We are an independent agency. Our licensed agents compare plans from several carriers and recommend the one that fits your health, your budget and the amount you want to leave behind, not the one that pays the most commission.

Locked-in rates

The premium you start with is the premium you keep. It does not rise with age, with a new diagnosis or at renewal, because there is no renewal.

No medical exam options

No needles, no nurse visit, no waiting on lab results. Depending on the plan, a few health questions or none at all.

Fast approval

Applications are completed by phone and many carriers give a decision the same day, so coverage can be in place within days rather than weeks.

Benefits paid directly to your beneficiary

The money goes to the person you name, generally free of federal income tax, with no obligation to use a particular funeral home.

Questions, answered

The things people ask us first.

If your question is not here, a licensed agent can answer it in plain English.

The benefit is paid in cash to the beneficiary you name, and they decide how to use it. Most families put it toward funeral, burial or cremation costs, final medical bills, outstanding debts and everyday household expenses. Anything left over stays with your family.

Give your family one less thing to worry about.

A licensed agent can quote your options in a single phone call. No exam, no pressure, and nothing to sign until you are ready.
